Certified Instructor, Creator of Still Skating
Marissa is based in Durham, NC, has 10+ years of skating experience, and a goal of sharing the sport with as many people as possible. She became a certified instructor through Skate IA in the Spring of 2020 after realizing skating was more than a hobby.
Her preferred disciplines are urban inline, fitness, aggressive, and distance skating on greenway trails and city streets. She’s commuted 300+ miles on skates, and aims to push her limits.
Marissa’s passion for skating has led her to teach skaters of all ages from the East Coast, West Coast, and various states in Mexico.
